What's a 'List Price'?
It’s basically the book’s “sticker price”, the amount a publisher suggests a retailer should sell it for, also known as the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).
We do our best to keep these prices accurate, but they can change over time. That means the price printed on your book might not always match what the publisher has listed today.
And for our Canadian friends, if the publisher doesn’t provide a list price, we crunch the numbers using a fair exchange rate based on the U.S. price. It’s not an exact science, but it is reviewed and adjusted periodically to reflect current market conditions.
How are Book Outlet books so cheap?
Do book prices ever change?
Yes, prices can change from time to time based on availability and publisher pricing. We do our best to keep everything accurate, but occasionally adjustments happen. If you spot a great deal, we recommend grabbing it while you can!
