Visiting Day

On Visiting Day, a little girl and her grandmother get ready. First, there's the long bus ride upstate, during which they share food, stories, and hope with the others making the trip. And then there's Daddy, waiting with a hug and a smile, ready to enjoy some time with his family. After all that, it's back home, where Grandma and the little girl count their blessings and wait for the time when Daddy will get to come home to them for good.
