A Jesus-Shaped Life Video Study: How Biblically Sound Theology Deepens Our Relationship With God and Each Other

This is a seven-week video-study resource (DVD/streaming video) rather than a traditional book — designed to make theology accessible and personally transformative for everyday believers.

It is part of the “Back Porch Theology Bible Study” series, aiming to show that “theology” — often perceived as academic — can meaningfully shape how Christians live and relate to God and others.

In this study, Harper invites participants on a journey beyond dry doctrine — arguing that theology at its best shapes not just what we think but how we live.

Over the course of six (or seven, depending on format) sessions — including video teachings and study guide material — the work explores core theological concepts like the Trinity, the nature and authority of Christ, the role of the Holy Spirit, the idea of the human being made in God’s image (imago Dei), and the call to “live a Jesus-shaped life.”

The goal is practical: to help believers see that sound biblical theology isn’t abstract, but deeply relevant to relationships, community, and day-to-day life.
