Wow!! I stumbled upon in a search for lower cost option for Christmas books. I easily found all of the books (and more) that I was looking for. The books arrived in a reasonable amount of time considering the Christmas rush, and exceeded my expectations. The books are in beautiful condition! Brand new books, at thrift store prices in an easy to navigate and search package! I’ll definitely be spreading the word. Can’t wait to put in my next order!

I've bought almost 100 books from Book Outlet, and never, ever had a problem. Shipping is fast, the book are always in "like new" condition, and even the few Scratch N Dents I've bought were almost pristine. And the prices . . . they simply can't be beat. I've seen so many titles I've bought for $25 or more at A*****n show up at Book Outlet for $7 or $8 (ouch . . . wish I knew about Book Outlet sooner). For an average about about $7 a book, you simply can't lose. I could've paid $20+ for the 4th of All The President's Men a while back on A****n, but it came up here for $7.19. I collect Music biographies, and Geoff Emerick's Beatles bio was $10 at BO . . . $24 at A****n. Don't get me wrong, A****n has it's place if you absolutely have to have a book when it first comes out, but with the stockpile you build up from Book Outlet, you can easily wait it out until it inevitably shows up on their site. And, the clearout, Scratch N Dent and cheaper titles are gold! For $3 or $4 at Book Outlet, you can take a chance and load up on books you might not normally buy. For the $50 I usually spend on each order, I get an average of 8 books. You simply can't find that anywhere else. Add Carly Simon's biography for $4 . . add Grant Fuhr's bio for $3. Why not! As far as shipping and/or damage issues some people have reported, I don't disbelieve them, but I've never had a package trashed. The box is always padded with lots of brown paper, the books are packed for maximum stability, and I've never had an order even dented. Even when I bought just two books that weren't boxed, they came in perfect condition. Oh . . . and ever other order or so they throw in a $5-off coupon in the box (at least that's my experience). If you're thinking of checking them out, I highly recommend it. And no, I wasn't offered anything for a glowing review . . . just telling it like it is in my experience. My only advice . . . load up on 7 or 8 books, and they'll come in a sturdy well-packed box if you're worried at all about damage in the postal system.

I made a very large order. Everything came in excellent condition (including the supposed scratch and dent books). I would have been happy buying these books in the bargain bin at chapters, except they were a fraction of the price. They came super quickly as well, especially considering the Canada post strike and the Christmas season.
